With the Foyer mostly complete it was time to start working on the game room portion. In this section I wanted to create a rock on the wall that woudl be the foundation for the scene I want to create. My friend Nick helped me to create the wooden frame of the rock, and then after many cans of great stuff foaming spray and lots of carving with a knife and about 6 coats of paint, we had ourselves a shell of a rock. This is screwed into the studs on the wall and then a bottom cap was put over to cover up the hole underneith.
After getting the rock installed, I began to bring the train track into the room. This took a bit longer than I anticipated, sicne I didn't know how I was goign to mount it to the wall. I had to create another bracket that fits above the door trim and comes out about 19 inches.
